To condense all of Abu Mohammad Ferdous achievements into one chronology would be impossible; as a result, we do not claim that our work here is comprehensive. Below you will find a chronology of important events in his life. It is a work in progress and we are happy to receive your comments or additions.

1937 | Study in Dhaka Collegiate School, Dhaka up to the year 1937. | |
1938 | Admitted in Class Eight at Barisal Zilla School. | |
1941 | Passed S.S.C examination from Barisal Zilla School & got admitted in ISC at Daulatpur B.L. College, Khulna | |
1942 | During his sturdy in B.L. College, Ferdaous join with Muslim Student League and at the same time, involved with the politics of the Muslim League. He was intensely involved in politics of Muslim League, so that he could not complete his study. When Khan A Sobur comes to Khulna from Calcutta then he becomes the leader of Ferdaous. | |
1946 | Ferdaous heartily tried his best with other activists to elected Mr. Sabur as MLA in Muslim seat of Khulna in the provincial election of the undivided Bangla and become successful. | |
1947 | After the inclusion of Khulna under Pakistan, Mr. Ferdaous and Afil joined with anti Sabur group after leaving their leader Sabur for some unknown causes. | |
1949 | After the establishment of Awami Muslim League by the leadership of the oppressed public leader Moulana Hamid Khan Bhasani, some anti govt. meeting- assembly held in Khulna. Mr. Ferdaous was one of them who were in commanding figure. Most likely, for this reason- within the year 1948 to 1951, the police force search two times in their house of Sreenagar and forfeit the progressive book-magazine. | |
1952 | Ferdaous was the member of Bangla Language Struggle Committee of February’1952 though he didn’t leave the Muslim League Organization even then. In the leadership of this committee, he devotes himself to the language movement in Khulna. This movement is remaining continued solely in 21st February and consecutively some days. In every year, 21st February is remain celebrated as martyrs day and up to year 1956, there is held strike in Khulna in that day. | |
1952 | Establish a first class press naming “Eastern Press” in a big house under the boundary of Ullashini Cinema Hall. From this press, a weekly magazine naming “Janata” was published. | |
1953 | The district committee of the Democratic Party is formed which is the first non-communal political organization of East Bengal. The former National Congress activist Advocate Abdul Zabbar become the President, the concealing communist activist, language solder M.A. Gafur is the General Secretary, Abu Muhammad Ferdaous and the former forward block activist Deben Das selected as the vice-president. | |
1954 | The Democratic Party works in favor of the candidate of Juktafront in the provincial election of East Bengal. For his role in the election, a warrant order is issued against Mr. Ferdaous before the election. He continued to works in favor of a progressive general farmer activist naming Bibhuti Roy in the scheduled Hindu seat of the centre of Batiaghata-Terakhada-Fakirhat-Mollahat-Khulna Sadar after remain himself as absconded and Bibhuti Roy elected the member of provincial council. This time M Nurul Islam, Shanto Ghosh, Kalidas Banarjee was companion of Mr Ferdous. In the Hindu seat Deben Das was elected from Ganatrantri Party. | |
1956 | Mr Ferdous fled to avoid the arrest, but arrested when he went to see the India-Pakistan Cricket match in Paltan. On 1956, as he had no attachment with police revolution, he was accused by political harassment. | |
1960 | “Eastern Press” shifted at Khulna Police Station crossing on their own property. | |
1960 | On 1960 at the first half period "Khulna Hiroz" named Football team was nursed by him. | |
1962 | Arrested by police with 40/50 political worker for the against of Ayub Khan. | |
1967 | With the leadership of Vice Chairman Prof. Mozaffar Ahmed, NAP (Mozaffar) was formed and Khulna Mozaffar NAP was chaired by Mr. Ferdous. | |
1969 | The Ayub against protest was on peak in the year. On 1969 in the month of January/February Mr Ferdous was arrested and released after few days. | |
1970 | Abu Ahmed Ferdous was the candidate of NAP Mozaffar on 1970 for East Pakistan State Council. | |
1971 | Stayed in Sugandhi of Bagerhat and Chitalmari area and then moved to India. There he acted as the Liberation Fight Organizer. On 16 December, Liberation he returned to Khulna and assisted Bangladesh Government. | |
1973 | Abu Ahmed Ferdous was defeated in national election. | |
1981-1986 | As a member of Khulna Drama Stage he took part. Khulna Drama Stage was established in 1900. On 1980 it was named as Khulna Natya Niketan. On 1981-82 and 1985-86 Ferdous was the Chairman of Khulna Natya Niketan the same. On 1979-80 under three of them there was moving drama stage established. | |
1988 | Handed over the possession of “Modern Book Depoe” to the new owner of the house. | |
1989 | Formed and was lifetime Chairman of Greater Khulna Development Committee. A lot of people from different party joined it and they followed Mr Ferdous. In his leadership there was Municipality Tax withdrawal, Khulna University established, Rupsha Bridge constructed, and Airport Established by the committee. | |
1992 | He solely established "Modern Book Depoe" in front of the press on his own land but, it also roots out. | |
1996 | He sold the land and machineries of Eastern Press. In this way, the successful business of forty, fifty and sixty decade of twentieth century is terminated. | |
2006 | December 13 | Abu Muhammad Ferdaus leaves the attraction of this earth and ground forever in this day at early morning. |
